Oh, how hard it is to grasp that a good friend of mine from growing-up on Granville Ave. in Roselle could have passed so soon. The GREAT times are flooding back in my mind as I recall his easy laughter, get along personality and eager excitement at a new pursuit that would be just so cool to do! Together with our friend Bill Lesniewski, we rode bikes, joined Scouts and ruled the neighborhood. We kept ourselves busy with countless interests before smartphones and Facebook could steal our childhood. Saltwater Aquariums supported by trips to “Fishes of the World” in Hanover Park. Picking the perfect stereo equipment from “Stereo Studio.” Learning outdoor skills and fun activities during any number of Scouting camping trips. Even working together at Gorski’s Food Fair.

Scott was a great friend. Always excited to see you and join in with the fun.

He will be dearly missed but NEVER forgotten. My warmest regards to his family (brothers Greg and Michael) and all his current friends. We knew a very dear soul, may it rest peacefully forever.

    With Sadness and in Sympathy,
    Dave Lawicki

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Scott, my neighbor for 25yrs.
Summers wont be the same. You were the grill master, enjoying each day in the sun, the tunes of classic rock in the background. You loved nature. I will miss our conversations, our laughs. You were counting down the weeks towards retirement. Gone too soon. You will be deeply missed but I know your spirit will live on. Rest in Peace my dear neighbor.

  • Bill Lesniewski says:
