So sorry to hear about the loss of Jeff. I got a chance to develop a great friendship with him back in the late seventies and early to mid eighties when he dated my sister Mimi Britton. We spent a lot of time enjoying the great outdoors and both very passionate about fishing. We spent a lot of time with friends such as Gil Rivera, Spiro Margolis , Steve Colette and others. I had lost contact with Jeff and hadn’t talked to him in many years. I truly wish I could’ve done so do to the fact that I just recently celebrated 33 years of sobriety. My thoughts and prayers are with him and the family. Jim
I fondly remember the family parties, fishing trips, and even working together with Jeff for a short period of time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in remembering Jeff, may he rest in peace.
When my family moved to our new home in 1966 we walked up the sidewalk and there was a small child (about my age 6) dressed as an Apache Indian sitting on our sidewalk…that would be my best friend for the next 20 years. Sadly, we lost touch for decades but we did get together a few Christmases ago. My condolences to all of Jeff’s friends, family and especially his sweet mother Carol.
I met Jeff through a friend that lived across the street from him on Balmoral when I was about 11 and Jeff was about 13. We became pretty good friends over the years and in our late teens early 20s worked together and hung out almost constantly. I’ll always remember him as a good man. A good old buddy who loved to laugh, have fun and was always there if you needed anything. My deepest condolences to go out to the family.
