Thinking of the family at this time and sharing in the loss of Uncle Ken. I have fond memories as a child going to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins and seeing Uncle Ken’s Garden with pure amazement. God Bless Uncle Ken.
Deepest sympathy to all the family of Ken. Wishing you all peace. He was a brother-in-law to me for oh so many years. He also was a best friend, always keeping my interest in my gardening with his support and praise even though it was nowhere near his incredible skill, always willing to help me. We go back a long way. He will forever be in my heart. Our family did many things together, tractor pulls and buttermilk pancakes! I just want to say he was remarkable. That is how I will remember him always, with very much love. Darlene (Layman) Pietrancosta. Shirley, you are in my thoughts. Wonderful wife, you two were for sure soul mates. I Love you. DAR
I have wonderful memories of my Uncle Ken. Walking me through his amazing garden and letting me pick whatever I wanted while teaching me about gardening. He was a good man.
My thoughts and prayers are with my Aunt Shirley and my cousins in this difficult time. Love to you all.
Brenda
Truly saddened by the loss of my Uncle Ken.
I have many fond memories of him. One being when he knew my interest in gardening at a very young age and I was trying to grow watermelon and he put one in our garden so I would think that I grew it. I will always remember walking around his impressive garden of everything from of tomatoes, kohlrabi, strawberries, snapdragons and so much more. I have a love for gardening and he will always be a big part of that.
My family’s sends all their thoughts and prayers to all that knew and loved him.
Shirley, so sorry to hear that Ken passed away. Sending prayers.
