Aimee C. Simmons

Aimee Cathleen Simmons, 51, born on October 10, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on June 4, 2024, in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Aimee was known for her kind and gentle nature, her fun and loving personality, and her resilience in facing life's challenges. She had a positive outlook, an incredible work ethic, and would always help find a solution if it meant it could help someone with a problem they had.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy Simmons; brother, Brian Simmons; son, Tyler (Danielle) Simmons; daughter, Shannon (Tommy) Scaletta; grandson, TJ; granddaughter, Ciri Duran; and her beloved cat, Lulu.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Simmons.

Aimee's hobbies included spending time with family, reading, cooking and baking. She loved giving thoughtful gifts, buying shoes, and finding a deal in a store. She loved fiercely for her family, friends, and Reese’s Peanut Butter candies.

Although Aimee is not with us physically, she will always be remembered by her warm smile, innocent giggle and infectious laugh.

Visitation for Aimee will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church 1190 N. Hicks Road, Palatine, from 9:00a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00a.m. A luncheon will follow the services.
