Ann D. Dewey

Visitation for Ann D. Dewey, 91, of Schaumburg, formerly of Palatine, will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  The Interment will be private.

Ann was born December 11, 1925 in Winnipeg, Ontario, Canada, and passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at home.

Ann enjoyed the outdoors and had an appreciation of nature and was a former member of the Park Ridge Garden Club.

Beloved wife of John D. Dewey; loving mother of Gyla Laurie and Robert (Sue) Busenburg; cherished grandmother of Michael Laurie, David (Ginger) Laurie, Michaela (George) Ellis, Vanessa (Andrew)Strong and the late William Laurie; great-grandmother of Alexandria Laurie, Reese Laurie, Aiden McFern, Gabrielle Busenburg, Dylan Cummens and Brandon Strong; dear daughter of the late Fred and Beda (nee Erickson) Lindstrom; dear sister of Stanley (late Sonja) Lindstrom and the late Gusto Lindstrom, Arne Lindstrom, Lily (Horace) Kingery, Erik Lindstrom, Erland Lindstrom, Ruth (Walter) Beltz and Margaret (Matthew) Olsen; also surviving many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to Save-A-Pet, 31664 N. Fairfield Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 or any other animal welfare organization or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
