Ann Kaiser

Ann Kaiser, age 95, of Woodstock, IL formerly of Mountain Home, Ark. and Forest Lake, IL.  She passed away Monday, August 5, 2013.  The family will receive friends from 10:00am until time of service at 2:00pm, Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  The interment will be private.

She was born February 24, 1918 in Chicago, IL to Eugene and Julia Porten.  On June 19, 1937, she married Frank Kaiser in Chicago.  Ann was a homemaker and a retired beautician.  Mrs. Kaiser enjoyed playing Canasta, Rummy, Skip-Bo, doing crossword puzzles and had a love of music and dancing.

Survivors are her two sons; Frank Kaiser of Tipas, San Jose, Costa Rica and Ken (Jana) Kaiser of Helotes, Texas; a daughter Ann (Marty) Susala of Hebron, IL; a sister Eleanor Albert of Long Grove, IL; seven grandchildren Frank May, Anne Janet May, Christopher Kaiser, Colleen McDowell, Michael (Jean Krieg) Joyce, Eric Winegarner and Rebecca (David)  Hildebrand; six great grandchildren Andrew, Kaine, Garrett, Kayla, Shelby and Jacob; and several nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Marie Popovich, and brother Gene Porten.
