Anna Grattoni

Visitation for Anna Grattoni, 103, of Palatine, will be held Friday, March 17, 2023, from 12:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Mass at 2:00 pm at the St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine.

Anna immigrated from Yugoslavia (Croatia) to Italy and then to America in 1952.  When they arrived, she attended Our Lady of the Angels Church in Chicago. Her passion was cooking, sewing, and she always loved spending time with her family.

The heavenly gates opened on March 14, 2023, to welcome our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Anna is the beloved wife of the late Oreste Grattoni; loving mother of Bianca (Grattoni) Giovanazzi and Alex (Joyce) Grattoni; adoring grandmother to Arianna (Charlie) Dimarco, Dariano (Monika) Giovanazzi, Christopher (Lauryn) Grattoni and Ryan Grattoni; great-grandmother to Vincenzo, Antonino, Luciano and Hendrick.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Oreste Grattoni; parents, Vjekoslav and Josipa Sepič; sisters, Bosilka (Sretko) Puz and Vlasta (Nello) Corradini; brother, Franjo (Yelka) Sepič.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciated to the Little Sisters of the Poor, C/O the St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine, Illinois 60067.
