Anne C. Alexander

A Visitation for Anne Carol Alexander, 102, of Barrington, will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 9:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service, 11:00AM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine.  The Interment will follow at Bronswood Cemetery, Oakbrook.

Anne was born in Chicago on August 17, 1912 to the late Joseph and Lucy Gailis.  She passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 in Barrington.

Anne is the loving wife of the late Vernon whom she married November 4, 1943 in Washington DC.  Beloved mother of Vernon (Carolyn); dear grandmother of Noelle Walker, Brooke (Peter) Woolf, Brent (Christian) Alexander, and Courtney Alexander; fond great-grandmother of Sydney and Aiden Woolf; and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her daughter, Holly Walker and 8 siblings.
