Anneliese Sauer

Memorial Visitation for Anneliese Sauer, 82, formerly of Morton Grove, will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 4:00PM until the time of the Memorial Service, 7:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The Interment will be private.

Anneliese was born on September 17, 1932 in Germany the daughter of the late Friedrich  and Emilie (nee Weinhardt) Bohn and passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in Lake Zurich.

Anneliese immigrated to Chicago in the 1950s and met the love of her life Rudi.  They were married in October of 1959 and then moved to Morton Grove where they lived and raised their children whom they loved so dearly.

Anneliese was the beloved wife of the late Rudolf; loving mother of Roland (Kelly) Sauer and Doris (William) Hoffie; cherished grandmother of Samantha, Sophia and Spencer Sauer; dear sister of Friedrich (Barbara) Bohn; Hilde (Hermann) Wiedersich and the late Doris Strohmaier and Ilse Bohn; also survived by her brother in law Manfred Strohmaier and many nieces and nephews.
