Annette A. Bateman

Prayers for Annette A. Bateman, 90, of Palatine for over 60 years, will begin Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton St., Palatine, IL.  The interment will be in St. Michael the ArchangelCemetery, Palatine.  Father Antonio Francis Ong will officiate.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 23, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Palatine.

Annette was born January 3, 1923 in Chicago, and she peacefully passed away September 19, 2013 surrounded by all of her children.

Annette was a longtime member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and a dedicated member of the Women’s Guild.  Her life devotion was faith, family and friends.

Annette was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Rolley C. Bateman; loving mother of Rolley C. III (Marianne), James P. (Laurel), Noel A. (Dr. Robert) Angerame,  Elizabeth L.  Grayczyk, Bobbie (Steven) Conrad and Kristin B. (Brian) Tite; loving grandmother of Rolley IV (Cathy), Stephen, Katherine, Dr. Daniel (Dr. Pantila), Rebecca, Emily, and Megan Bateman, John, Dr. Marc and Thomas Angerame, Kimberly, James and Jeffrey Grayczyk, Courtney, Christine and Catherine Conrad, and Kelly Tite; loving great-grandmother of Emma, Morgan, Clare, Iris and Phoenix Bateman; dear daughter of the late Peter and Anna (nee Deppert) Altmayer; fond sister of the late Peter and Walter Altmayer.
