Antoinette J. Lavita

Visitation for Antoinette J.  LaVita, 88, of Lake In The Hills will be Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 4:00PM until the time of Funeral Service, 7:30PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Family and Friends will meet at 10:00AM Friday, May 15, 2015 also at the funeral home and proceed to Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington for the Interment.

She was born November 12, 1926 in New York City, NY to John and Caroline Lombardi. She died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington.

Ann was the wife of the late Mario. She is survived by her children, Joseph and Lynn; sister, Margie Lombardi; her grandchildren, Scott, Athena, Christy, Morgan, Brooke, Zach, Emily, and Holden; great-grandchildren, Landon and Jordan; her dear friends Chuck and Dawn Barnes.  In addition, Ann was the longtime friend of more than 45 years to Jean Wright.

Ann will be remembered to her family and friends as being joyful, loving and honest.
