Anton A. Kersch

Visitation for Anton A. Kersch, 83, of Buffalo Grove, formerly of Hoffman Estates, will be held Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  Funeral Services will follow Friday, January 17, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Palatine; with the Reverend Warren Schilf officiating.  The Interment will take place at Glen Oak Cemetery, Hillside.

Anton passed away January 15, 2014 and was born February 15, 1930 in Chicago to the late Nicholas and Katherine (nee Harnacher) Kersch.  He was the beloved husband of the late Florence L. (nee McClellan) Kersch; loving father of Carol Ziolo, Karen Kersch and the late Anton Kersch Jr.; loving grandfather of Jason (Brooke) Ziolo and Jonathan (Mallory) Ziolo; loving great-grandfather of Aydan and Ashley Ziolo; fond brother of Evelyn (late William) May and the late Elizabeth Leitgeb; and dear brother-in-law of Charles Leitgeb.  In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
