Antonio Fiore

Visitation for Antonio Fiore will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 10:30 am. Entombment will be at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Antonio passed away at his home on September 10, 2020, at the age of 91. Antonio was born in Mola di Bari, Italy on July 18, 1929, to Vitoantonio and Caterina (nee Clemente).

He was the older sibling to Isabella (Vincenzo Connena) and Rosa. He married his childhood sweetheart Palma Recchia in Pompei, Italy on September 2, 1953, and was married for 67 years. They immigrated to Chicago, Illinois in 1955. They raised their family in Chicago where he worked as a machinist before retiring to Palatine in 1992. He enjoyed working in his garden and visiting with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Palma (nee Recchia), sons Anthony (Christine) and Vito (Rosangela), and grandchildren Alissa (Tyler), Anthony, and Mia.
