Arlene M. Vormittag

Visitation for Arlene M. Vormittag (nee Vogt), 88, of Lake Zurich since 1955,  will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  An Interment will follow in Windridge Memorial Park Cemetery, Cary, Illinois.

Arlene was born October 11, 1932 in Wheeling, Illinois and passed away at home in Lake Zurich (Forest Lake), Illinois.

Arlene was the beloved wife of the late Paul M. Vormittag, Sr., loving mother of Paul (Julie) Vormittag, Dan Vormittag, Jeff (Kelli) Vormittag, Mike (Anne) Vormittag and Sherrie Vormittag; loving grandmother of Josh, Jessica, Caeley, Britteny and Jennah; loving great-grandmother of Jasmin & Breanna; dear daughter of the late William and Virginia (Nee Maierhofer) Vogt; fond sister of Leroy, Marilyn, George, Ivan, Bobby, and beloved aunt to many.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society.

Arlene lived in Forest Lake for 48 years.  She was an avid Champion bowler for over 60 years.  She loved playing bags with her kids and their friends.  She enjoyed camping, boating and gardening and she loved brownies.
