Arthur ascended into heaven on January 2, 2015. He was born in Romania of German descent to Friedrich and Luise Weingartner on June 7, 1939. The eighth of ten siblings, Arthur came to this country with the same hopes of any immigrant; to live the American dream. He found success in the manufacturing industry and co-founded Victor Envelope Company in Bensenville, Illinois.
For over 40 years as mechanical engineer and inventor, he greatly impacted the lives of those who worked with him by passing on his wisdom and knowledge so that they too may be afforded the opportunity to live the American dream as he did.
Arthur lived a full and meaningful life and he cherished his family more than anything in this world. His heart of gold, modesty, and kindness touched everyone who knew him best. His legacy will forever live on because of the out pouring of love he bestowed upon his friends and family. Of everything he was, his most precious role was being a father; being Opa.
Arthur is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Ella (Biegelmann) Weingartner. He is survived by his children, Linda, Arthur, and Suzanne; his seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
