Barbara Ann Darling

Visitation for Barbara Ann Darling (nee Young) a longtime resident of Lake Zurich, will be on Saturday, March 12, 2016, from 9:30am until the time of the Funeral Mass, 10:00 am at Santa Maria del Popolo Catholic Church, 116 N. Lake St. Mundelein, IL 60060.

Barbara was called to heaven to join her husband Winston “Lee” on March 6, 2016.  She was surrounded by her loved ones and her beloved cat, Gonzo.  Barb is survived by her children; daughter Jean (John) Jenkins, son Winston (Dee) Darling and her sister Kathleen (Bill) Ganci.  One of the greatest joys of Barb’s life was spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren, Justin, Jenna and Jeffrey Jenkins.

Barbara was born April 22, 1938 in Jamaica, NY to Catherine and John Henry Young.  While working at Plattsburg Air Force base she met her husband Winston Lee Darling and married him on April 11, 1964.  She will be dearly missed and never forgotten by her many friends and most of all by her family.
