Bernard J. Mccarville

Visitation for Bernard J. McCarville, 84, of Schaumburg, formerly of Chicago, will be held Monday, January 29, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.

Prayers will begin Tuesday, January 30, 2018, 9:00 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Lake Zurich, and proceeding to Transfiguration Catholic Church, 348 W. Mill St., Wauconda, for a Mass of Christian Burial a 10:00 a.m.  The Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

Bernard was born November 13, 1933 in Chicago, and he passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in Schaumburg.

Dear son of the late Bernard and Rose (nee Flood) McCarville; fond brother of John (Mary) McCarville, Joan (Tom) Stein and the late Thomas McCarville; uncle of many nieces and nephews.

He was a United States Air Force Veteran, a Truant Officer and a Tour Bus Driver for Grey Line.  Bernard really enjoyed talking and the tour bus driver job.  He was a bachelor for life and had a good life enjoying the nightlife in Chicago his entire life.
