Bette Becker

Services for Bette (Demme) Becker, 99, of Palatine, IL. will be held at a later date.

Bette was born in Pittsburgh, PA., and died peacefully on August 22, 2021.

She graduated as valedictorian from Perry High School, where she was a member of Student Council, National Honor Society, and yearbook editor.

While working as an executive secretary at the Roosevelt Hotel in Pittsburgh, Bette met Joseph Becker, her husband of 52 years. She was a loving wife and dedicated mother.

Following her husband’s death, Bette joined her family in Palatine, IL.  She was involved in the Willow Creek Community Church’s Mail Team Ministry where she found new friends and activities that kept her schedule full.

Bette was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; her brother Frederick P Demme; and her parents Frederick J and Elizabeth Demme.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Nick) Cerwin; daughter Christine Becker; granddaughters, Kristin (Bob) Lanigan, and Shawna Anderson; great-grandsons Roman Anderson, and Colter Anderson.
