Betty C. Hauser

Visitation for Betty Carol Hauser, 70, a lifelong resident of Palatine, will be on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Funeral Services will be on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 144 E. Palatine Rd, Palatine, at 11:00 AM.  She will lie in state from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service.  The Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.

Betty passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.  She was born on January 13, 1945 in Palatine to Frank and Elnora Greenwood.  Betty loved traveling with Jim and family to Australia and gathering with family and friends.

Betty is survived  by her beloved husband of 45 years, James W. Hauser, daughter,  Jacqueline Legg (Debbie Stefko);  sons, Erick (Laura) Hauser and Kurt Hauser; step-children, Molly, Diana, Maryanne and the late Jimmy; grandchildren, Gavin, Christina, Courtney, Kyle, Nicolia and Sophia; sister Shirley Nelson and brother, Charles Greenwood.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Stanke and brother, John Greenwood.
