Betty J. Larkins

Visitation for Betty Jane Larkins, 96 of Hermitage, TN formerly of Buffalo Grove and Palatine, will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 10:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  An Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington.

Betty was born on July 14, 1918 in Wabash, IN the daughter of the late Roy and Iva (nee: Lynn) Baker and passed away peacefully at her home early on Monday, August 18, 2014.

Betty was the beloved wife of the late LaVerne E. “Verne” Larkins; loving mother of Kathleen Susan (John) Reaney of Mount Juliet, TN and the late Judith Anne (late George) Davis; cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Ian) Wood.  She was preceded in death by her brother Jeane Baker.
