Betty M. Demonte

Visitation for Betty May DeMonte, 99, of Lake Zurich, will be from 5:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Services, 8:00 PM on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich.  Family and Friends will meet, 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside for a graveside service.  A luncheon will follow.

Betty was born on July 7, 1918 in Terre Haute, IN to Harold & Valeria Coons.  She passed peacefully, Monday, July 10, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Betty was the beloved wife of the late, Frank P. DeMonte; loving mother of Grant H. Lewington, Frank DeMonte, Philip DeMonte, the late Paul K. Lewington, the late Joseph DeMonte and the late Anthony DeMonte; dear sister of Lorraine (Pat) Thomas.  She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.

Her passing leaves behind wonderful memories of exhilarating life experiences and whatever chocolate could not be consumed by one individual in her 36,138 days here on this earth.
