Bill Larsen

Bill Larsen, age 62, of Schaumburg, passed away September 24, 2013 at home, surrounded by his loving family.  Visitation will be on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 3:00PM to 9:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N Northwest Hwy, Palatine.  The final inurnment service will be at 10:00AM on Monday, September 30, 2013 at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, 1185 West Algonquin Road, Palatine (across from Harper College).

He was born in Chicago, IL on July 8, 1951 to Leona and Victor Larsen.

Bill was the youngest of four siblings and is survived by; Jim Larsen, Sandra Rutstein and Linda Lobe.  On June 18^th, 2011, Bill married his soul mate Jan Larsen (nee Opperman).  He was a loving and compassionate father of Nicole (nee Larsen) and an accepting, caring father-in-law to Jeromy Bianchi.  He was like a father to Andrea Opperman, Ian Opperman and Jeff and Jackie Walsh.  He was cherished by his four grandchildren; Mia Bianchi, Keira Bianchi, Meghan Walsh and Joe Walsh.  He was loved by his three nieces and three nephews; Tracy O’Shaughnessy, Michelle Hendricks, Deena Elle, Chad Spates, Victor Larsen, David Larsen and their wonderful families.

He loved and was loved by many more as he gave his heart freely to all. He will forever be remembered and live on in our hearts.
