Bonita Slaw

Funeral Services for Bonita Slaw, 81, of Hoffman Estates will be on Saturday, March 31, 2018, 1:30 PM at All Saints Lutheran Church, 630 S. Quentin Rd., Palatine.  A reception will follow at the church.

Bonita was born in Gettysburg, SD on March 26, 1937 to Lloyd & Chloe Prettyman.  On Monday, March 26, 2018, she passed away at home, surrounded by family.

Bonita was employed by Northwest Community Hospital as an ICU Nurse for 28 years.

Being a very devoted member of the All Saints Lutheran Church, Bonnie served as president of the church council, a Bible study teacher, member of the choir, an ELCA Synod Representative and served on a variety of committees.  She was also a member of the DAR.

Bonita is survived by her children, Steven (Laura) Slaw, Barbara (Lynn) Crim, Elaine (Brian) Locker, and Stuart (Catherine) Slaw; grandchildren, Michael, Sara, Bradley, Philip, Derek, Andrea, Rachel, Jacob and Samuel; sister, Diana (Monte) Lamb; niece, Katherine; and nephews, William & Theodore.
