Brad E. Bleakney, Esq.

Visitation for Brad E. Bleakney, 64, of Hawthorn Woods, will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service, 2:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, IL. Due to COVID a luncheon will not be provided, refreshments will be provided on site.

He was born on August 26, 1956 in Indiana, PA and passed away, unexpectedly, on Sunday, October 4, 2020.

He was an Attorney at Law, graduated from Penn State and John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Brad loved the outdoors; fishing, hunting and gardening. Brad was a fabulous father to Vaughn.

Brad is the beloved husband of Kathryn “Kit” (nee Moy-Leong); father of Vaughn Blair Bleakney; brother of Rita L. (Dr. Kevin) Strezo; uncle of Diana and Amanda Bing, Dr. Kristen Lee, Kevin Jr. and Andrew Strezo.  He will be greatly missed by his Aunt Gladys Johns and Uncle Bob McConnell as well as many cousins and family living in PA. He was preceded in death by his parents Blair and Velma (nee Cribbs) Bleakney.
