Brent A. Baum

Visitation for Brent Allan Baum, 62, of Barrington for 26 years, will be held Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 with prayers at 9:30 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Lake Zurich, and proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass.  Father David Ryan will officiate.  The interment will be private.

Brent is the beloved husband of Donna M. (nee Rogozinski) Baum; loving father of Brandon C. Baum; dear son of the late Arnold and Winifred (nee Haley) Baum; fond brother of Janice Henderson, Arthur (Carmen) Baum, Bob (Lisa) Baum and Arnie (Barbara) Baum.

Brent worked in the banking industry for 35 years, and had recently retired from the banking industry to begin a new chapter in his life in pharmaceuticals.  He worked for ABBVIE and Walgreens.  He was active at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and participated in the church choir.  In his college years, Brent had played basketball at Colorado State University, and later on was involved in youth sports with his son, Brandon.
