Brian F. Scheu

Visitation for Brian Frederick Scheu, 36, of Lake Zurich, will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  The Visitation will continue Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service, 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 24500 N. McHenry Road, Hawthorn Woods.  An Interment will follow in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery.  The Reverend Timothy Kinne will officiate.

Brian was born May 6, 1980 in San Jose, CA, and passed away February 8, 2017 in McHenry.  He graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Parkside with a Bachelor degree in Management of Information Systems.  In his spare time, Brian was an avid hiker, backpacker and loved to raft.  He greatly enjoyed the out of doors.  Brian was a gentle soul, always ready to help those in need.

Dear son of Phyllis (John) Vinson; Friedrich (Amy) Scheu; fond brother of Erika (Andrew) Wagner and Rebecca (Sean) Lynch.  Cherished ex-husband to Ewa Scheu.  Friend to anyone in need and lover of dogs.
