Bruce A. Gergen

The Visitation for Bruce A. Gergen, 72, of Hoffman Estates since 1978, will be held Sunday, February 28, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. The Funeral Service will begin Monday, March 1, 2021 at 11:00 am also at the funeral home. Bruce was born May 28, 1948 in Chicago, and he passed away February 25, 2021 in Arlington Heights.

Bruce retired from Builders Chicago in 2009.  He enjoyed fishing, traveling, going to the casinos, and spending time with his beautiful family.

Bruce was the beloved husband of Angela M. Gergen (nee Fertitta); loving father of Kim Burgess, loving grandfather of Kyle Burgess, Kevin Burgess and Karsyn Burgess ; dear son of the late William and Florence (nee Hazelwood).
