Carol A. Austin

Visitation for Carol A. Austin, of Arlington Heights, will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  Prayers will begin Thursday, June 1, 2017, 9:00 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Palatine, and continue with a Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 820 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.  The Interment will be private.

Carol was born June 2, 1939 in Evanston, IL, and passed away May 25, 2017 surrounded with her family at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights, IL.

Dear daughter of the late Lionel and Florence (Metzger) Austin Sr.; fond sister of Ted (Peg) Austin, Jerry Austin, late Robert Austin, Susan (Bill) Malmgren and Barb (Mike) Chetney; fond sister-in-law of Maureen (Norm) McDougall;  loving aunt of many nieces and nephew,  and second mother to Karin Malmgren and Leslie Gellatly.
