Carol A. Haggerty

Visitation for Carol Ann Haggerty, 85, of Palatine, will be from 3:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Family and Friends will meet directly at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, for the Funeral Mass at 10:00a.m.  The Interment will be held privately at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Carol was born on January 26, 1937 to Eric and Mary Hansen.  She passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022, in Arlington Heights.

Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She will be missed.

Carol was the beloved wife of the late, Matthew T. Haggerty, who died in 1991.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher (Bev) Haggerty, and Paul Haggerty; grandson, Kevin (Basia) Haggerty; granddaughter, Kathleen (Kevin) Murphy; great-grandson, Dean Elliot Haggerty; and her sister Constance “Connie” (Charlie) Agro.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Claire Prendergast.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to The American Cancer Society.
