Carol A. Kraemer

Services and Interment for Carol A. Kraemer, 88, of St. Louis, will be held privately. The Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, 7800 St. Charles Road, St. Louis, Missouri.

Carol was born January 15, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Albert and Elizabeth Jane (nee Linson) Kraemer and passed away August 6, 2023, in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Survivors include her nephew, Mark Thrun (Alvin Ferrer), nephew, Thomas (Julie Ashton) Thrun, niece, Deborah Thrun Luethy (Michael Luethy), niece, Nancy Wiemann, nephew, David Wiemann, as well as great nieces and nephews, Max, Rachel, Jack, Jasmine, and Emily.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her three sisters, Anna Lou (Nick) Kiriakos, Dorothy Thrun, and Frances (Earl) Wiemann.

Until recently, Carol was a lifelong resident of the St Louis area. She reveled in the local sports scene, with the Cardinals and KC Chiefs being two of her favorites. She enjoyed playing golf and watching it on TV when playing was no longer possible. She was an excellent cook and loved some of the Home Cooking Channels. She enjoyed trips to the zoo and had several cats over her lifetime. She had a wicked sense of humor and amused people until the end. Carol retired from Vantage Credit Union in 2005.
