Carol Haller

Visitation for Carol Haller (nee Mickelsen), age 70, will be held at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL from 3:00pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 and from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00am on Thursday May 22, 2014 at The Orchard Evangelical Free Church, 1301 S. Grove Avenue, Barrington.  The Interment will follow at Windridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Cary.Carol passed on May 17, 2014 after a six year battle with Multiple Myeloma.  She was born on December 28, 1943 in Arlington, VA to Walter and Mildred Mickelsen.

She is survived by her loving family; husband of 42 years, Brian, two children, Megan (Bill) Collier and Brad (Brooke) Haller, five grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha, Zac, Lilah, and Colt, and brother Donald Mickelsen.

Carol earned a BA from Valparaiso University and lived in Palatine, IL for the last 27 years.  She was very active in the lives of her children and then her grandchildren as well as serving at her church.  She will be deeply missed and remembered for her humility, kindness, laughter, and, most of all, for her commitment to Christ.
