Carol Rotermund

Visitation for Carol Rotermund, 71, of Palatine will be from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Visitation will also take place on Friday, June 3, 2016 at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am.  The Interment will be private.

She was born on November 6, 1944 in Chicago, IL and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 24, 2016.  

Carol was the beloved wife of Bernie for 52 years; mother of David (Kathy) and Carrie (Scott) Prochnow; grandmother of Danny, Mitchell, Billy, Nicholas and Robby; daughter-in-law of Elizabeth Rotermund; sister of Marlene Lichter; aunt of Deb Halan, Tim and Mark Lichter; and also survived by many relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Alice Wachholz; granddaughter, Alyssa Prochnow and grandson, Cody Prochnow.
