Carol S. Lewis

Visitation for Carol Sue Lewis, 76, of Hanover Park, will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine. Family and Friends will meet at Evangel Church, 5700 Bartels Road, Hanover Park, IL for the Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service. An Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.

Carol was born on November 21, 1941 to Lars and Marie Andersen in Chicago, IL. She passed away at home, on Saturday, November 3, 2018.

Carol was an active member of Evangel Church and in her community. She will be remembered for her devotion to serving others, especially in prayer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Carol was the beloved wife of the late Warren Lewis, who passed away in 2002. She is survived by her children, David (Wendy) Lewis, Kimberly (Jack) Pinsel, and Nancy (Paul) Crager; her grandchildren, Joseph, Ashley, Daniel, Timothy, Nicholas, Parker, Samantha, Mason, Bennett, and Zander; her brother, Wayne (Barbara) Andersen and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Andersen and her granddaughter, Renee.
