     Visitation for Carole A. Cannon (Sanders), 78, of Palatine, IL, and Glendale, AZ will be held Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Prayers will be said Monday, March 24, 2014, 9:30 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  A Funeral Mass will be said Monday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton Street, Palatine, IL, 60067.  The Entombment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Carole was born June 5, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois, and she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Sunday, March 16, 2014, at her home in Glendale, Arizona after her long struggle with lymphoma cancer.  She was artistic, vivacious, and a lover of life.  Her family meant everything to her.  She graduated from Alvernia High School in 1952, and later in life went to work for Kemper Insurance in Arlington Heights, where she received the Salute Award for employee excellence.  Carol is the 4th generation of couples in her family to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

Carole was the beloved wife of Leo J. Cannon; loving mother of Susan L. (Bill) McCamley, Timothy L. Cannon and Cathleen J. (Charles) Gorham; loving grandmother of Megan (Bryan) Hulihee, Christopher Farkas, Kaitlin Farkas, Jessica Cannon, Kevin Cannon, Lindsey Cannon and the late Brian Cannon; loving great-grandmother of Noah and Owen Hulihee, Rune Farkas, and Jayden Cannon; dear daughter of the late Edward and Irene Sanders; fond sister of Marigayle Marti and the Rev. Wayne Sanders.
