Charles F. Lange

The Memorial Mass for Charles “Chuck” F. Lange, 80, a resident of Lake Zurich since 1987, will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014, 11:00AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  An Inurnment will follow at a later date, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.

Chuck was born on November 22, 1933 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Frank J. and Margaret (nee: Prange) Lange.  He passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.

Chuck was an U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.  He was a very active member and past commander of Lake Zurich American Legion Post #964.

Chuck was the beloved husband of 31 years of Caroline A.(nee: Breyer) Lange; loving father of Kurt W. Lange; dear brother of Leonard (Late Mary) Lange and Theresa (Richard) Herdrich and preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters; also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Chuck, would be appreciated for the Lake Zurich American Legion Post #964 of Lake Zurich, PO Box 331, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.
