Charles M. Lorch

A Memorial Visitation for Charles M. Lorch, will be held Sunday, December 20, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service, 5:00 p.m. at Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, 25225 W. Ivanhoe Road, Wauconda, IL 60084.

Charles was born August 28, 1923 in Chicago, and he passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in Libertyville.

“Bud” was a WWII Veteran – U.S. Air Force, 2^nd Lieutenant, Bombardier and Navigator for the 497^th Bomber Squadron, 344^th Bomber Group.  He was a lifelong sports fan and loved spending summer vacations with his family fishing the lakes of Wisconsin, Minnesota and Canada.

Beloved husband of Janiece M. Lorch (nee Blue); loving father of Linda (Jeffrey) Uhl, and Ron (Terri) Lorch; loving grandfather of Matthew Uhl, Tyler (Heather) Uhl, Melissa Uhl and Ryan Lorch; dear son of the late Robert and Emma (nee Voss) Lorch; fond brother of Kathryn (Robert) Moderow, and the late Robert (late Laverne) Lorch and the late Char (late William) Neumann and favorite Uncle “Bud”.
