Charles W. Davis

A private memorial service/celebration of life for Charles W. Davis, 92, of Palatine will be held at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church on Saturday Oct. 3, 2020 at 10:00am. Due to the pandemic, in-person attendance will be limited to immediate family and the event will be live-streamed online — all who wish to celebrate Chuck will be able to join us virtually via the Zoom link below.

Charles, a US Army veteran, was born on September 20, 1927 to Arthur and Myrtle Davis. He passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. Charles was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be remembered for his warm smile, welcoming hugs and servant heart.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Peggy Davis; daughters, Dawn (Paul) Ruge and Kim (John) Mayer; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
