Christopher G. Johnson

A private Chapel Service for Christopher Glenn Johnson, 23, of Lake Zurich, will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL (Please gather at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery Chapel.)

Christopher was born on October 1, 1994 in Des Plaines, IL. He passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018. He attended Lake Zurich High School and graduated in 2013, where he was a member of the freshman football team. He was currently a senior at Northern Illinois University, majoring in computer science.

Christopher is survived by his parents, Glenn and Susan Johnson; his brothers, Nicholas and Stephen; and his sister, Stephanie, all at home; He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Joanne Jacobi, of Barrington, IL; his paternal grandparents, Gail Johnson of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Jay and Martha Johnson (step grandmother) of Deerfield, IL; He is also survived by his aunt, Gina Meeks of Island Lake, IL; uncles, Thomas Jacobi of Island Lake, Kirk Johnson of Buffalo Grove, IL, and Mark Flanders of Holiday Hills, IL. Christopher is also survived by several cousins.
