Chuck W. Matheson Ii

Visitation  for Chuck W. Matheson II, 70, a resident of Lake Zurich since 1977, will be  held on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 2:00PM until the time of the Funeral Service  at 5:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake   Zurich.  The interment will be private.

Chuck  was born on February 1, 1943  in Miami, FL  and grew up in Grand Rapids, MI  the son of the late William and Dorothy (nee Hull)  Matheson and passed away on Thursday,  April 4, 2013.

Chuck attended Michigan State University and had also played on  the Michigan State Football Team.  His devotion and loyalty to Michigan State  was as strong today as it was when he attended there.  Chuck went on to work for United Airlines where he remained until his retirement in 2007 after 36 years of service.  He was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran of the  Vietnam War.

Mr.  Matheson is the beloved husband of 44 years of Bonnie (nee Nelson) Matheson;  loving father of Sean (Amy) Matheson and Kathy Matheson; cherished grandfather  of Morgan, Ava and Rylee Matheson.
