Funeral Services for Clare “Bud” Baker, 87, of Cary, formerly of Palatine, will be private.

Bud was born at home in Arlington Heights, IL on September 20, 1930 to Melvin and Lydia Baker. He passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Bud, a Master Carpenter, was a special man to everyone he touched. He will be deeply missed.

Bud is survived by his beloved wife, of 67 and a half years, Dolores Baker; his daughter, Jenifer Scharlau, son Jeffrey Baker, who passed away in 1981; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
