Constance E. Rawa

Visitation for Constance E. Rawa, “Connie” 77, a longtime resident of Palatine, will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine. Family and friends will meet directly at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine, on Friday, February 21, 2025, where visitation will continue from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.

Connie was born on April 7, 1947 in Chicago to the late Michael J. and Frances (nee Cwiak) Rawa and unexpectedly passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025.

She was the dear sister of Michael P. (Pamela nee Wojtanowski) Rawa and fond niece and cousin to many.

Connie retired from teaching with Palatine School District 15 after a 35 year career. She was an active member of the Palatine Historical Society. Under Connie’s direction, she organized the yearly cemetery walk from research to writing the stories. Additionally, in her spare time, she enjoyed antiques, especially Victorian clothing, and antique dolls. She also actively pursued genealogy research. Passionate to Connie, was being a supporter of many animal rescue foundations. She will be missed by many of her good friends and also her cat, Tasha.
