Dale F. Blau

Visitation for Dale F. Blau, 96, of Lake Zurich will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 3:00 pm until the time of the Celebration of Life Service, 4:00 pm at St. Peter United Church of Christ, 47 Church Street, Lake Zurich.  The Interment will be private.

He was born on May 13, 1920 in Lake Zurich, IL and passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at his home peacefully surrounded by his family

Dale was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” A. (nee Mihalik); father of Joyce (Pat Feehan) Blau, Bradley Blau and Teryl (Fred) Martin; grandfather of Melissa (Randy) Abbott, Frederick IV (Megan) Martin, Rachel (Cory) Brumfield and Lauren (Lewis) Hutcheons; great grandfather of James and Brooklyn Abbott, Flynn and Gwenn Martin and Wyatt Hutcheons; brother of Dana Rae Hapke; uncle of many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Fred G. and Lydia Blau and sister Jeanette Blau.

Dale was also a proud WW II Veteran
