Darlene A. King

Visitation for Darlene “Humma” A. King, 84, of Algonquin, formerly of Rolling Meadows, will held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 4:00 pm until the time of Memorial Service at 7:00 pm at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.

She was born on December 24, 1936 in Greenville, PA and passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021.

She started her nursing career in the Army and was a dedicated nurse at Northwest Community Hospital.  Darlene had a love for sports and her grandchildren.

Darlene is survived by her daughters Connie (Tim) Rang and Nikki (Darrin) Caldwell; grandchildren Maggie (Scott) Schrayer, Emily (Ryan) Sharkey, Aaron and Sean Caldwell; great grandchildren Averie and Colton; brother Gary Kiser and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her former husband Nick Tufano, her parents Ruth (nee Snyder) and Jimmy Fitzgerald and Ken Kiser; son Christopher and her sister Connie.
