David W. Allen

Memorial Visitation for David W. Allen, 68 of Palatine since 1994, formerly of Phoenix, Arizona, will be held, Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service, 4:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  The Reverend Joon Hwang will officiate.

David was born July 19, 1946 in New York City, NY, and he passed away March 15, 2015 at home in Palatine.

David was an electrical engineer for 20 plus years with Continental AG Corporation.  He served in the U.S. Army in Fort Huachuca, Arizona.  He was happiest with a tool in one hand and a cup of piping hot coffee in the other.

Loving father of Ruth Allen, William Allen, Andrew Allen and Josephine Allen, Tamara Allen, Rose Allen, Marshall Allen and Desmond Allen; husband to Rhose Allen; dear son of Ruth H. (the late William T.) Allen (nee Hartmann); fond brother of John, James, Peter, Timothy, Paul, Stephen, Rebecca and Mary.
