Dennis M. Becker

A Visitation for Dennis M. Becker, of Palatine, will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. A Funeral Service will be held the following day, Saturday, September 22, 2018, 10:00 AM also at the funeral home. Please attend both the visitation and funeral services in casual attire.

Dennis passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Palatine, Illinois and was born on October 15, 1947 in Elmhurst.

Dennis had a long career within the trucking industry, serving as a truck driver for Roger Meyer Trucking and Bergman Trucking. He retired from Glander Paving Company. He was a member of the Local Teamsters Union number 731 for 27 years. Dennis belonged to the Palatine Squadron no. 690 and the 9th district of the Sons of the American Legion for 42 years. He also served as the Adjutant for the palatine squadron and Sons of the American Legion.
Dennis is survived by his son; Dennis R. Becker and was preceded in death by his parents; Melvin C. Becker and Mable Becker (nee Topple).
