Dominic F. Berta

The Funeral Mass for Dominic F. Berta, 88, a resident of Palatine since 1973, will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, 11:00am at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine.  The Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.  Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine and from 10:30am until the time of the Funeral Mass, Tuesday, at the church.Dominic was born on November 4, 1925 in Spring Valley, Illinois the son of the late Frank and Virginia (nee Pallai) Berta and his stepfather George Aschenbrenner and passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014.

Dominic was a U.S. Army Air Force Veteran having served overseas during WWII.

Dominic is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Violet T. (nee Faletti) Berta; his loving children Cathy (DeWayne) Husser, Frank (Dina) Berta, Mary Berta, Joan Berta and Teresa (Barry) Calpino; cherished grandchildren Matthew Berta, Brianna (Jeremy) Thompson, Christopher (Lauren) and Andrew Husser, Dorian Bunn, Virginia, Benjamin and Jacob Calpino; great grandfather of 6; Dominic is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Masses in memory of Dominic, would be appreciated.
