Donald D. Bauder

Don was born on September 4, 1942.  He passed away on November 19, 2020.

Don was a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a degree in education, and a masters in Chemistry.  At the university, he was a member of the Farm House Fraternity.  Professionally,  he was a chemistry teacher at Evanston Twp. High School and Wheeling High School.  Over the years, he received numerous teaching awards, locally, state and nationally.   In his spare time, he loved to garden.  Additionally, he was enjoyed genealogy and published 2 genealogy booklets.  Donald was an accomplished pianist.

Donald is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Karen Bauder; his sons, David (Jennifer) Bauder and Steven Bauder; his mother, Carol Bauder; brother, Dennis Bauder; nephew, Michael; and niece, Amy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Irwin D. Bauder.
