Donald E. Bark

Visitation for Donald Everett Bark, 86, of McHenry, formerly of Arlington Heights, will be held Saturday February 18, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service, 12:30 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.

Donald was born April 30, 1930 in Clinton, Iowa, and he passed away February 15, 2017 in Lake Zurich.

He graduated from the University of Iowa and became a licensed CPA in 1953.

He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Duke basketball fan.  More than anything he loved his family and his wife of 64 years.

Donald was the beloved husband of Marilyn L. Bark (nee Jackson); loving father of Debra Hawkins, Kimberly (Jeff) Pennino and the late David A. Bark; loving grandfather of Heidi (Todd) Schmalzreid, Matthew Bark, Ryan Bark, Bradley Bark, Marissa (Michael) Mullarkey, Justin Pennino, Molly Pennino, Mallory Pennino and the late Christopher Bark; loving great-grandfather of Nicholas, Benjamin, Tyler, Brooklyn, Cadence and Brayden; fond brother of Richard (Patsy) Bark.
