Donald Samuel Caminiti

Visitation for Donald Samuel Caminiti, 84, a resident of Palatine since 1973, will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 3:00PM until the time of the Funeral Service, 8:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The Interment will be private.

Donald was born in Chicago, IL the son of the late Samuel and Mary (nee Sanduk) Caminiti on December 20, 1930 and passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015.

Prior to Donald’s retirement he had worked for Motorola for more than 30 years, he was also a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Donald was the loving husband of 59 years of Virginia (nee Larsen) Caminiti; loving father of William (Jayne), Brian and Dean Caminiti; cherished grandfather of Emily Caminiti; dear brother of Lee (Yvonne) Caminiti; also survived by one niece and one nephew and preceded in death by a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials, in memory of Don, would be appreciated for the charity of the donor’s choice.
