Donald V. Lippo

Visitation for , 78, of Palatine formerly of Chicago, will be held Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  Funeral Services will begin Monday, December 21, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Palatine.  An Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Christ the King Mausoleum, Hillside.  Deacon Tom Dunne will officiate.

Donald was born June 20, 1937 in Chicago, and he passed away December 17, 2015 in Arlington Heights.

He served 46 years for the U.S. Postal Service.  He spent his retirement traveling and was an avid casino player.

Donald was the beloved husband of Annette Lippo (nee Bucaro) and the late Ida Lippo (nee Rizzo); loving father of Donald (Joy) Lippo, Jr., late Debra A. Lippo, Brian (Joann) Lippo and Dawn (Anthony) Edwards; loving grandfather of Katherina (Michael) Makhlis, late Thomas Lippo, late Kyle Lippo, Michael Lippo, Jason Lippo, Justin Lippo, Nathan Edwards, Brandon Lippo and Ryan Edwards;      dear son of the late Dominick and Marie (nee Chiara) Lippo; fond brother of Leonard (Delores) Lippo and Barbara Lippo; step-father of Thomas Reimann, Christine Reimann and Michael Reimann; step-grandfather of Tyler and Michael Reimann; step-great-grandfather of Angelique and Baylee Reimann.
